Edge and Christian Reunite To Spell Alberto Del Rio’s Doom, Days Before Wrestlemania 27!

Red mist descended upon the ring at Smackdown, when superstars clashed a few days before the 27th edition of The Showcase of the Stars, Wrestlemania 27 hits the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. In a rare sight, the WWE Universe was treated to a reunion of Edge and Christian!

In a throwback to the old days, one of the most successful Tag Teams of all times was reunited to take on the cocky superstar, Alberto Del Rio and his mean protégé Brodus Clay. The reason behind their reunion lay in the incidents that happened earlier in the day.

Edge, seething in rage after the vicious attack by Alberto Del Rio and his henchman Brodus Clay, stormed into Smackdown manager, Teddy Long’s office and accused him of favoring Alberto.

Alberto had delivered a vicious ‘Conchairto’ to Edge on the previous edition of Smackdown. But Edge won’t be able to have his revenge as he and Alberto, both will be banned from Wrestlemania 27, if they lay their hands on each other.
Will Edge have his sweet revenge when he clashes with Alberto Del Rio at Wrestlemania? This question has the fans in a dilemma, and has got them waiting for a Wrestlemania 27 live stream for deliverance.

And in the main event, Christian squared up against Alberto Del Rio. The match swung back and forth, but all hell broke loose when Edge ran to ring, to deal with Alberto’s acolytes. After chasing away Ricardo, Edge laid his hands on Brodus Clay, rather his chair. Christian then pinned a distracted Alberto for the win.
Then Christian stopped Edge from getting banned when Edge went to nail Alberto with a chair, but there were no restrictions on Christian as he delivered chair-shots to Alberto Del Rio. On the Road to Showcase of the Stars: WrestleMania 27 Beckons!

Slowly, steadily but surely, the day is drawing near. WrestleMania 27 is just on the horizon, and it is casting ominous shadows all across the globe. The tension in the air is palpable, and is accumulating with every passing day. And in the previous edition of Smackdown, warning shots were fired.

Taking a quick recap, an explosive foundation was laid for the WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania 27, as The Miz was able to blindside an unaware John Cena. Cena ambushed the WWE Champion’s protege, Alex Riley allowing The Miz to escape. The Miz looked worried after Cena’s assault; he might have a little too much on his plate with the No.1 contender John Cena and the hulking figure of Wrestlemania 27’s guest host, The Rock.

Speaking of which, The Rock will be at the next edition of Raw, and will look to put his hand in the already boiling cauldron that is the present Raw roster. It will probably do well without the presence of the two iconic men of wrestling, Triple-H and The Undertaker.

The Undertaker will respond to Triple-H’s invitation and the Phenom, as he is known popularly, will like to remind Triple-H about their previous match at Wrestlemania 17. The Undertaker defeated Triple-H and took his streak to 9-0. Things have changed drastically; the arrogant Triple-H is now the calculative, cold wrestler. The streak has increased to 18-0.

Triple-H will be looking to dent The Undertaker’s psyche before their match at Wrestlemania 27, while The Deadman will bring his mind-games to Raw.
